Remember in the 1980s, when the future (or as it was referred to then, the 2000s) included floating vehicles and bubble cars? Well, we don’t have those (yet), but there are still some fantastic new vehicles coming out in 2023 and some trends I’ll be on the watch for. Let’s start this new year off right by highlighting some of the most anticipated new vehicles coming out this season!
Cool New Cars To Look Out For
Of course, there are dozens of new vehicles that are going to hit the market in 2023. We already know a lot about most of them: car brands from Honda to Chevrolet to Tesla have dropped videos, press releases, and more for their new line-ups. I want to highlight three new vehicles: the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06, Hyundai Ioniq 7, and Toyota GR Corolla. There’s a little something for everybody on this list!
Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06
This 2023 model (click here to see the Z06), catchphrases including send your imagination racing and every lane is a victory lane, is definitely stylish–mock-ups on the website show the vehicle in a multitude of racecar-esque colors with a stylish muscle cut body, and of course, the signature retracting roof. But looks aren't all this vehicle is pulling up to the starting line with–this baby has a redline of 8600 RPM! Whew!
Hyundai Ioniq 7
Hyundai is officially (click here to see the Ioniq) in the EV game. The Ioniq 7 is a tad mysterious, with only concept information on Hyundai’s website. Even the concept is worth anticipation, though! It’s truly like something you haven’t ever seen before–I mean, is that a couch in the backseat?! Are those rotating seats?! We can’t wait to see more about this one!
Toyota GR Corolla
Toyota is back and ready to rally! The GR Corolla (click here to see it) comes with a 6-speed intelligent Manual Transmission, 300 horsepower, and a 3-cylinder turbo. For all the sparkle under the hood, this vehicle looks quite sleek, if not normal–I don’t know that it would turn heads on the street while parked, but that engine is sure to get a few looks!
Safety Features and Upgrades We’re Expecting
In 2023, we expect to see more electric vehicle and hybrid roll-outs from major car brands–but of course, this is no surprise! At The Auto Shop, we can support maintenance for most hybrid vehicles and even service your Tesla.
Additionally, new flashy safety features (including center airbags, wireless charging, birds' eye view parking, etc.) are expected to soon become industry standards. At The Auto Shop, we can perform electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting on these items in your vehicle!
