1. Backyard Concert Series
The Backyard Concert Series is a summer-long event that takes place every Thursday night at the historic Missouri Governor's Mansion. 2. Salute to America on Fourth of July
Who could forget to add the Salute to America to their calendar? This is a Jefferson City must! Celebrate Independence Day with a bang at Salute to America, Jefferson City's annual Fourth of July celebration. 3. The CRMU Amphitheater Concerts
Do your kids love music? The Capital Region Medical Center Amphitheater hosts a variety of concerts throughout the summer. 4. Kids Fest and Fishing Derby
Ready for some all day fun in the sun? Don’t forget to register for these two great events! If you're looking for family-friendly fun, check out Kids Fest and the Kids Fishing Derby–separate events, but best for kids who love the outdoors. Kids Fest features games, crafts, and activities for children of all ages. The Fishing Derby is a chance for kids to try their hand at catching fish in the Missouri River.
5. Stars Under the Stars Movies in the park and Minions Pool Party
Want to take advantage of Jeff’s incredible park system? Wrap up your summer with two fun events: Stars under the Stars (movies in the park) and the Minions Pool Party.
Stars under the Stars is a series of outdoor movie screenings in Riverside Park. Bring a blanket and snacks and enjoy a movie under the stars.
The Minions Pool Party is a family-friendly event at the Ellis-Porter Riverside Pool. There will be games, prizes, and of course, minions!
